The eternal city
Rome has a population of 3 million and is the biggest city in Italy. The 'eternal city' is situated on the River Tiber and has a lot of sights to see and historical sites to discover. The Colosseum, many Piazzas (z.B. the Piazza Venezia, the Piazza Navona or the Piazza del Popolo), the Spanish Stairs, the Trevi Fountain and naturally the Vatican City and the Forum Romanum. The 2 600 year old cultural history is present in every nische of the city - it is magic! Apart from all the sights to see, Rome also offers a great variety of things to do, entertainment in the evening, shopping facilities, many, many street cafes and restaurants, which are open during the day, and in the evening. Once you have been to Rome, you will always want to go back!
