Nelson - the sunny city on the south island!
The region around Nelson is one of the most popular destinations in New Zealand. In addition to the pleasant, almost mediterranean climate, this area has one of the most beautiful Nationalparks in the country. Nelson has approx. 50'000 inhabitants and is very appealing with its cosy and friendly atmosphere. Discover the surroundings during a stroll, go swimming on one of the beautiful sandy beaches, be courageous and go on a paragliding tour, check out Nelson from above during a dive from a plane with a paraschute, or degustate the very famous, excellent wine of New Zealand at a local vineyeard.
